Kenyalink Consolidators Web

For Kenyalink Consolidators, I designed and developed a website that communicates professionalism while simplifying the journey for customers who want to track and manage shipments easily.

1. Brand Foundation First

Before designing the site, I strengthened the Kenyalink brand identity:

  • Brand positioning rooted in reliability and transparency

  • Clean, bold color palette inspired by global logistics

  • Polished typography for a corporate yet modern look

  • Refined messaging emphasizing efficiency & customer support

  • Updated visual elements to support credibility

This created a strong identity to guide the digital experience.

2. Research & Discovery

In the logistics industry, clarity is everything. My research included:

  • Global standards for cargo & shipping websites

  • User behavior when tracking cargo

  • Competitor audits (local & international)

  • Pain points: access to information, trust, and speed of updates

These insights formed the foundation of the website flow.

3. Wireframes & UX Structure

Based on user research, I mapped a UX that focuses on simplicity and trust:

  • Straightforward homepage with main services

  • Clear “Track Your Shipment” entry point

  • Info sections that answer customer questions fast

  • Portal flow for registered customers

  • Calls to action woven through every page

The wireframes ensured the website worked like a real business tool, not just a brochure.

4. UI Design & Visual System

Using Kenyalink’s identity, I created a clean, corporate UI:

  • Minimal layouts with structured grids

  • Strong headers for clarity and authority

  • Professional imagery related to freight & cargo

  • A consistent visual system for icons and sections

  • High readability for long-form cargo details

The design communicates stability and seriousness — values the logistics industry demands.

5. Development (WordPress + Custom CSS/HTML)

The website was built on WordPress with functional enhancements:

  • Custom logistics service pages

  • Shipment tracking integration flow (via redirect to customer portal)

  • Clean CSS refinement

  • Mobile-first build

  • Fast-loading structure

Everything was optimized for easy updating and long-term scalability.

6. Testing & Launch

I ensured the website was robust through:

  • Mobile and desktop testing

  • Form and portal link testing

  • Speed optimization

  • Navigation usability checks

Kenyalink’s website now acts as a digital gateway to their cargo services, offering confidence and clarity to customers.
